The Chiefs reached a reached a new five-year contract on Monday. Bowe’s deal is for $56 million over five years and includes $26 million in guaranteed money.

This was a good decision for the Chiefs. Andy Reid knows that in order to turn the team around, he will need a #1 receiver to help Alex Smith.  It will be interesting to see what other moves the Chiefs make to compete with the Denver Broncos and the rest of the AFC West.
