The Philadelphia Eagles re-signed Michael Vick on Monday to a one-year deal for the 2013 season, league sources said.
This contract replaces the one Vick had signed and he now is scheduled to be a free agent after next season. But Albert Breer reports that deal is technically a three-year deal, but, per the contract, final two years void in mid-March. So it’s a one-year deal.
Well it looks like Vick will have to play and play well to get another contract in Philly. If you’re an Eagles fan you have to hope that their O-Line can stay healthy so they QB can stay upright.
I think Vick still has some good years left so it will be interesting to see how he fits into Chip Kelly’s offense.
