I think Charles Davis was on to something when he first made his comments about Adrian Peterson maybe being Wolverine. Chris Wesseling reports that Adrian Peterson underwent surgery to repair an abdominal core muscle injury, otherwise known as a sports hernia. The team expects a speedy recovery with no long-term concerns.
To put the MVP’s late-season performance in perspective, Washington Redskins rookie Alfred Morris was the only player to rush for more yards (1,606) all season than Peterson’s 1,598 over the final 10 games.
Now I think this MVP is even more deserved but I’d be careful if I’m AD and make sure no one takes his blood to try to create a super soldier/football player
