Special Teams standout Josh Cribbs will now be an Oakland Raider after spending his first 8 years in Cleveland. Cribbs tweeted his confirmation that was a Raider earlier today.
Terms of the deal have yet to be announced, but the signing ends a multi-stop offseason tour for Cribbs, who worked out last week for the Detroit Lions, New York Giants and Jets. John Idzik, the Jets general manager, told The Star-Ledger on Tuesday that Cribbs’ surgically repaired left knee “isn’t quite there yet,” but theRaiders are convinced he can make a difference.
If Cribbs is healthy he will get his share of PT on the field as the Raiders have one of the worst receiver corps in the league. I’m sure Cribbs will be a fan favorite in The Black Hole as he was in The Dog Pound.
